We try to reproduce colours as accurately as possible in our brochures and on our web site but due the limits of photography, printing processes and variations in computer screen calibration the images are intended as a guide only.

Variations will occur in some of our product ranges due to geological reasons. Our stone is natural, cut in quarries from around the world and there will always be a degree of variation in colour, fossil and mineral markings, surface veining and fissure content which is the beauty of natural stone. This is why your stone floor will be individual and unique!

You are welcome to come and see all DTstone products on display in our showroom at Fordingbridge where our staff are ready to help you select the flooring or paving best suited to your needs and offer advice on installation. If you can't get to our showroom ask for some samples :

We are happy to send out samples

If you cannot visit our showroom we are happy to send out samples. We will send out a maximum of two 4" complimentary samples of stone floor tiles or of paving stones, any more being subject to a small postage charge (see delivery costs for more details).

The samples will arrive with you unsealed. The colour and finish of the stone will change once sealed so we recomend that you seal your samples with your preferred sealant before you make your choice.

Roof tile samples are subject to a postage charge. This is refundable against any future order you may make.

DELIVERY CONDITIONS - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

We use a fast and reliable 3-5 day service by national carrier. Kerbside delivery only by tail lift lorry. The driver uses a hand-operated pallet truck and will endeavour to get your order as close as is safely possible to your property. Should you require a specialist dedicated delivery vehicle please contact us for a price.
You can opt for a timed delivery or a Saturday morning delivery at extra cost. Once you have placed your order the goods are normally be dispatched within three working days.

1. We will make every effort to ensure your stone is delivered in good condition and it will certainly leave our warehouse carefully packed and inspected.

2. Please be aware that the delivery of stone is invariably very heavy, most crates weigh 1000 kgs each. Therefore we deliver using a nationwide pallet system. These lorries unload using a tail lift system. We are also able to make deliveries with a crane lorry but this costs more. You must advise us which system you wish to use to receive your goods at the time of order.

3. Because of the nature of heavy goods vehicle we need to know in advance if you have any access restrictions locally and at your place of delivery, i.e. low bridges, height restrictions narrow lanes, slopes, soft ground, weight restrictions, width restrictions. We can normally plan our way around these problems but you need to inform us at the time of order. Otherwise extra delivery costs will be incurred, which we would have to pass on to you.

4. Is a booking in time or booking reference number required? If so you need to provide this at time of booking together with contact number, name and date (Please note a surcharge will apply for this service)

5. The smallest vehicle used within our network with a tailift is a 7.5 tonne truck

6. Any specific delivery instructions must be advised at time of booking – Please note NO goods may be left without a signature. You or your representative need to inspect and sign for your delivery

7. Drivers are not permitted to take risks with delivery vehicles – if they deem the delivery entrance inaccessible they will be forced to make a kerb side delivery or return the goods. If goods have to be redelivered, you will incur an extra delivery charge.

8. Drivers are not permitted to make deliveries inside your premises for insurance purposes

9. Part deliveries are not permitted the driver is only permitted to leave full deliveries

10. Pallets may not be delivered with a pallet truck over uneven ground or gravel due to health and safety regulations

11. Drivers are not permitted to take away packaging or pallets after delivery has been made

Please note, if you sign for the goods as "received in good condition" we cannot accept any subsequent claims.

12. Upon delivery, the driver will ask you to sign for the delivery. You must inspect the goods carefully before doing this to make sure they are in good condition. If there is any damage to the pallet or the goods you must note this on the Delivery Note and get the driver to countersign and print his name against your note.
Any claim for damages/breakages must be noted to us within 24 hours.

FAILURE TO DO ANY OF THE ABOVE WILL INVALIDATE ANY CLAIM.

13. RETURNS

After receipt

You can decide to return your order for any reason at any time within 7 working days after the day you receive it, for a full refund in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations. If you decide to return the purchase(s) to us for any reason, you will have to meet the carriage costs that you incur in doing so yourself. When sending a return we recommend that you contact us beforehand to discuss the most suitable form of carrier. Your statutory rights are not affected.
What is our return policy?
We have a no quibble return policy. If you want to return something, for any reason at all, that’s alright. You have up to three-months to get the goods back to us. As long as we receive the returned item within three-months of the receipt of your order, we will refund it.

What happens if I don't like the items ?

No problem. Just send the item back to us and we will give you a full refund. Please contact us within 7 working days after the day you receive it.

I am going away for a month. Can I return the item when I get back?

There is no need to worry as you have a maximum of three months to return the goods, as above.
